Mary Lou Woods

Highland City- Mary Lou Woods, age 70, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Lakeland. Born November 25, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL ,she was the daughter of the late LB and Frances Elizabeth (Fallin) Barnes. Mrs. Woods was a Customer Service Manager for Wal-Mart on South Florida Ave. in Lakeland. She was a Freewill Baptist. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband Cody Woods in 2010. She is survived by a loving family that includes her three daughters: Sharla Washer of Highland City, Sheryl Woods of Lakeland, and Shauna Helms of Bartow. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Miranda, Tia, Jeffery, Ashley, Justin, Jonathan, Brian, Tabatha and her great grandchildren: Zoie, Hailey, Haydn, Kylan, Cody, Shyia, Benson, and Paetyn. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 16th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
