Daniel A. Bagwell, Sr.

Daniel A. Bagwell, Sr., age 62, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born August 19, 1961, in Clinton, S.C. to William & Brenda Bagwell. Daniel was a Carpenter for the Polk County School Board. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching sports, especially football, hockey, and baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel A. Bagwell, Jr., and sister Lisa Morse. Daniel is survived by his wife Betty, Bagwell of Bartow, FL, six sisters, Angela Castle & (Anthony) of Dade City, FL, Lena Sanders of Woodruff, SC, Denise Bagwell of Bartow, FL, Heather Bagwell of Bartow, Sarah Alonzo (Marc) of Carrollwood, FL, and Michelle DiSalvo (Shean) of Bradenton, FL, brother Rick Hamby (Kristen) of Laurens, SC, grandson Bentley Bagwell and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Turning Point Worship Center in Bartow, FL. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
