Zenaida Gutierrez

Bartow – Zenaida Gutierrez, age 70, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2025, at Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 2, 1955, in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.

Zenaida dedicated many years of her life as a Para Educator for the NYC Board of Education, where her kindness, patience, and love for children touched countless lives. She was a woman of deep faith, a devoted Christian who found joy in serving the Lord, attending church, and encouraging others in their walk with God.

She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, love, and prayer. Zenaida’s gentle spirit, unwavering strength, and compassionate heart will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Hector Gutierrez of Bartow Sr; her devoted son, Hector Gutierrez Jr, Daughter in Law Erika Hernandez of Bartow; her beloved grandchildren, Valeria Gutierrez of Brooklyn, NY, and Angel Gutierrez of Bartow; and her dear church family at Iglesia del Nazareno Oasis de Esperanza who walked alongside her in faith and love.

A funeral service celebrating Zenaida’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Oasis De Esperanza in Bartow. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
