Wyman E. Helms

Wyman E. Helms, age 66 passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his home in Frostproof. Born October 3, 1948 in Homeland, he was the son of Milford and Stella (Baxter) Helms. Wyman was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Helms worked for many years as a fiberglass mechanic in the boat manufacturing industry. Wyman is preceded in death by his wife Cleo Helms. He is survived by two daughters: Honi Helms, Krystina Helms, and two brothers:Jerry Helms and Calvin Helms. The family will receive friends Sunday December 28th from 2pm to 3pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Monday, Dec. 29th at 12:30pm.
