William Gustav Weyand, Age 84, passed on February 1, 2022. He was born in Homeland to Gus and Lula Weyand on June 3, 1937. He graduated from Summerlin Institute in 1955, where he was the president of the FFA. He served in the Army Reserve for a number of years. He was the owner of Agrisales, Inc., from which he retired. He resided in Singer Island. Bill was an avid saltwater fisherman and enjoyed his boats and spending time on the water. He is survived by his companion Martha Chisholm of Singer Island; daughters Susan Weyand Duncan of Homeland and Cynthia Weyand Butler (Jerry) of Bartow; grandchildren Shelly Duncan (Scott Cordosi) of St. Petersburg, Stacy Allen (John) of Tampa, David Duncan of Lakeland, Scott Duncan of Homeland, Angela Lewis of Chardon, Ohio, and Andrew Lewis of Bartow; great grandsons Leland Cordosi and Levon Allen. He will be laid to rest beside his parents and grandparents in Homeland cemetery. To respect his wishes, there will be no service.
