William G. "Bill" Strickland

William G. "Bill" Strickland III, age 76, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Consulate Health Care of Lakeland. Born April 26, 1940 in Goldsboro, NC, Mr. Strickland was a longtime resident of Bartow. Mr. Strickland ran an architectural and design business for several years, later he was a sales representive for Florida Rock. He was preceded in death by is wife: Elaine H. Strickland. He was survived by two sons: Brian Strickland of Bartow and Mark (Tina) Strickland of Lakeland, a brother: John Strickland (Claudette), Aiken, SC; three grandchildren: Shaun, Rachel & Matthew. Family will receive friends Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 10:00 -11:00 AM, at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 W. Stuart St. Bartow. Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church.
