William Hubert Shiver, Sr.

William Hubert Shiver, Sr. passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 in Perry, Florida. Mr. Shiver was born on December 7, 1946 in Geneva County, AL. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum where he worked as a filter operator. He attended New Beginning Church of God in Fort Meade. Mr. Shiver is preceded in death by his father Hubert John William Shiver, sister Edan Jean Fox, and great granddaughter Karleigh Brianne Kirk. He is survived by a loving family tht includes his wife, of 48 years, Christine Spears Shiver, his children: William H. Shiver, Jr., (Lynn), Lorie Ann Shiver, Hope LeeAnn Shiver, his mother, Edna Lee Shiver, his siblings, Sarah Keen (Jerry), Robert L. Shiver, Sr. , Ronnie Shiver (Sandy) and Kathy Bryan (Jay). He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Brian Kirk (Amber), Shelby Shiver, Emily Shiver, Christa Shiver, Madison Shiver, and his great grandchildren: Kennedy and Karter Kirk. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7th from 10am to 11am at New Beginning Church of God, 3920 Highway 98 East in Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the church.
