William Parker

William Parker, age 84 passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home in Homeland. Born December 6, 1930 in Donalsonville, GA, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Hortense Parker. Mr. Parker was a U.S. Army Veteran. William worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years in the construction industry. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons: Lamar and Raymond Parker. Mr. Parker is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 59 years, Mildred Parker of Homeland, his daughter Donna Sellers and husband Lamar of Homeland, five grandchildren: Melissa, Heather, Christie, Raymond, and James, and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Whidden-Mclean Funeral Home in Bartow. Services will follow the visitation at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
