William "Bill" Naberhaus

Bartow - William "Bill" Naberhaus, age 81, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Highlands Lake Center of Lakeland. Born September 8, 1937 in Saint Joseph, MO, to Charles & Ethel Naberhaus. Bill was a resident of Bartow for over 60 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Bill was a Lab Technician in the Phosphate Industry for many years and formerly associated with White's Men Shop of Bartow. He attended the Bartow First Christian Church, he was a past president of the Bartow Lions Club. He was an avid golfer, assisting with the Florida Sheriff's Girls Villa and the Billy Tomasello tournaments for several years. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Darrel Naberhaus. He is survived by a son: Mark Naberhaus (Angela), two daughters: Angela "Chris" Slick (Larry) and Melissa Martin (Ricky), all of Bartow. five grandchildren: Jacob Slick (Crystal), R.J. Martin, Jarrod Naberhaus, Matthew Martin, & Logan Slick; two great grandsons: Ezekel Slick & (on the way) Elon Slick. His wife: Pepita Bachmann- Goyzueta Naberhaus of Lakeland. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the First Christian Church, Bartow. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the Church.
