William H. "Bill" Moore

William H. "Bill" Moore, age 94, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at his residence in Bartow of natural causes. Born June 17, 1920 in Mobile, AL, Mr. Moore was a resident of Bartow since 1922, moving from Alabama. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Wildwood Baptist Church, Bartow. He was a Welder and Boilermaker with IMC phosphate for 38 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joyce N. Moore, Bartow; two daughters: Janice L Duke (Ron), Bartow; and Karen M. Gould (Tommy), Plant City; two sons: Billy Moore, Jr. (Phyllis), Lakeland and Tim Moore (Leigh), Bartow; brother: Franklin Moore, L (Zelda) Lake Wales; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Wildwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be held at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
