William B. Johns

William B. Johns, age 53, passed away from Leukemia Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at home in Bartow. Born November 25, 1959 in Sneads, FL, Mr. Johns was a longtime Bartow resident. He attended the Bartow Church of God. He owned and operated Lyle's Vinyl in Eagle Lake. William is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Sharon Johns of Bartow, sons; William "Aaron" Johns of Bartow, Julian "Bubba" Johns of Bartow, Richard Garcia of Mulberry, daughters; Marisol "Madie" Johns of Bartow, Juanita "Nita" Johns of Bartow, and Amber Lynn Johns of Bartow . He also leaves behind five brothers; James Johns of Bartow, Jearl Johns of Chattahochee, Frank Johns of Lakeland, John Johns, Carl Johns both of Bartow, sister Mae Hurt of Bartow, three grandchildren; William Bentley, Arianna, and Agustin, and many nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 7th from 6PM to 8PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow Friday, March 8th at 2:00PM at the Bartow Church of God, 1460 East Stuart Street in Bartow.
