William J. Davis

Bartow - William J. Davis, age 93, passed away on October 9, 2026, at his residence in Bartow. He was born on June 8, 1933, in Trenton, TN. He worked in the phosphate industry before becoming the owner of W. J. Davis Spreader Service. He enjoyed fishing, flying, tinkering, yard work, and boating. He was preceded in death by his sister, Katy Lou Brown. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Janice Davis of Bartow; his daughter, Lisa Davis of Bartow; his sisters, Nancy Minnotte (Bob) and Brenda Dion (Richard), both of Tennessee; and his brother, Billy Davis (Pat) of Georgia. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
