William M. Chauncey

William M. Chauncey, age 77 passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Winter Haven. Born May 18, 1943 in Mayo, FL , he was the son of the late Hansel M. and Essie Mae (Perry) Chauncey. Mr. Chauncey worked in the construction industry for many years with Corbesco Industrial Roofing in Mulberry. Along with his parents, Mr. Chauncey is preceded in death by his wife Victoria Chauncey. He is survived by a loving family that includes his son , Bill Chauncey (Elizabeth) of Auburndale, and his siblings: Milton Chauncey of Mulberry, Sam Chauncey (Susie) of Lakeland, Claude Chauncey (Barbara) of Bartow, Jerry Chauncey (Clarabella) of Bell Buckle, Patricia Higson of Live Oak, Janelle Starling (Larry) of Bartow and Mary Fike (Walter) of Mulberry. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13th from 9:30am to 10:30am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. A graveside service will follow at 11:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
