William "Bill" C. Greene, Sr.

Bartow - William "Bill" C. Greene, Sr., age 69, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born August 23, 1954 in Charlotte, NC. He was a Surveyor for the Department of Transportation for the State of Florida. Bill was a Florida State Seminoles Football fan (GO NOLES) and both managed and coached Bartow Youth Soccer for many years. He was also an avid gun enthusiast and enjoyed going to the gun range for target practice as often as possible. Bill is survived by his wife Lori Carlton Greene of Bartow, two sons W. "Carson" Greene, Jr. & wife Sarah of Weimar, TX and Cameron A. Greene of Lubbock, TX, stepson James R. "JR" Burnette & Wife Amanda of Winter Haven and stepdaughter Shauna Burnette of Bartow, many other loving family members and friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL.
