William "Bill" Dubose

Bartow - William "Bill" DuBose, age 92, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in his home surrounded by family. He was born June 8, 1929 in Enigma, GA to Charles & Dorothy Dubose. Bill was a veteran in the US Army, and served in the Korean War. He was a Accountant with DuBose & Company, and held many positions with Juice Plus+. Bill loved his family and friends, and regularly had them gathered around for “picking and grinning” or just to visit. He was very quick witted and knew how to get a laugh out of anyone he came in contact with. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Audrey DuBose. He is survived by his daughter Angie Reese & husband Albert of Bartow, granddaughter Ashlee Briggs & husband Jeremy of Bartow, grandson Bo Reese & wife Stephanie of Hazlehurst, GA, son Timothy DuBose & wife Penny, grandson Kevin DuBose & wife Lauren of Acworth, GA, six great grandchildren Lexi (Hunter Webb), Ashlyn Faith, Tucker, Tanner, Trint and Taylor, three great great grandchildren Bentlee, Braxton and Adelyn Ann, sister Barbara Hutcheson & husband Terry of Plant City and brother Elton DuBose of Memphis, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a later date.
