Hope I. Workman, 71, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, and Wickard "Wick" Workman, 74, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022. Hope was born October 22, 1949 in Manhattan, NY to Howard & Ruth Imhof. Wick was born February 26, 1947 in Huntington, West Virginia to Earl & Countness Workman. Wick & Hope met as children, became highschool sweethearts and married in Long Island NY, on June 15, 1969. Wick & Hope moved to Florida in 1971 from Long Island, NY, so Wick could teach high school in Vero Beach, FL. They moved to Lakeland, FL in December of 1981, where they resided until their deaths, and celebrated 52 years of marriage. Hope was a ADD/ADHD Liaison Coordinator with Polk County Schools for almost 20 years. Wick was a Human Resource Manager for All Children's Hospital for several years, and also taught high school math and was a liason consultant with PCSB for kids with ADD/ADHD. They loved going to Jamaica, which they felt as though was their second home, rescuing cats, and spending time with their kids and grandkids. They are survived by daughters Samantha Kidd & husband James of Gadsden, AL, Ashley Stricklin & husband Randee of Bartow, and Kristen Hunter & husband Matt of Lakeland, seven grandchildren, Timmothy, Gauge, Lathan, Courtney, Morgan, Deserea and Xander sister Faith Pryhuber & husband Herb, brother Howard Imhof Jr., and two nephews Scott & Kyle.
