Wendy Lovering Hancock

Lakeland - Wendy Lovering Hancock, age 52, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born December 22, 1967 in Lakeland, FL, Wendy was a Dental Assistant specializing in Pediatric Orthodontics. One of biggest joys of her life was being a wife to Marcus and mother to Carter and Kendal. She attended Lakes Church in Lakeland. She loved using her voice to glorify God by singing with her daughter and her friends. She was preceded in death by her father George H. Lovering, Sr., father-in-law Kenneth Hancock and nephew Justin Rodgers. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Marcus K. Hancock, daughter Kendal Hancock, son Carter Hancock, mother Bonnie Lovering, brother Howard Lovering, mother-in-law Janet Hancock, sister-in-law Jane Rodgers & husband Jeff, nieces Graci Lovering, Jessica Cuzzone, Jenna Rodgers and nephew Jake Rodgers. Family will receive friends Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church. Seating will be limited, the service will be streamed live on the First Baptist Church Facebook page. Interment will be held at Hancock Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
