Wayne Pippin

Barney "Wayne" Pippin, age 71, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 in Lakeland. Born December 5, 1944 in Bartow, he was the son of the late Barney B. Pippin and Annabelle (Myers) Keller. Wayne retired as an Electrical Supervisor for C.F. Industries after many years of service. Mr. Pippin was an active member of Scott Lake Baptist Church and also was a senior choir member there. Wayne is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, of 17 years, Elsie Harris Pippin of Lakeland, his four children: Angie Ioannidis (Mike), Deann Snider, Barney W. Pippin, II, and Melissa Coffey (Daniel). He also leaves behind his sister Donna Lynn Smith (Gary) and eight grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at the Scott Lake Baptist Church, 5811 Scott Lake Road, Lakeland 33813. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Scott Lake Baptist Church Building Fund.
