Wayne Riley Mcclellan

Wayne Riley McClellan, age 89, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was born September 26, 1934 in Tiger Bay, FL to Jesse & Callie (Scott) McClellan. Wayne graduated from Fort Meade high in 1954, where he proudly wore the #29 on his football jersey. He went on to become a Supervisor for Alcoa Aluminum which is where he retired from. In his spare time when he was not fishing, he also owned the Tiger Bay bar (with is brother Arthur McClellan) as well as the M & M bar, outside of Fort Meade. Wayne was an avid fisherman, he loved watching nascar and football, especially his Florida State Seminoles. Wayne is survived by his three daughters Lisa McClellan Walker (John) of McDonough, GA, Mona Sherrie Brown of Fort Meade (Ley) and Terrie Tisko (Billy) of Fort Meade, two sisters Grace Lee of Panama City and Ruth Hamrick of Prescott, AZ, grandchildren Joey Sheils, Shay'la Sheils, Brandy Filyaw, Penny Holland, Becky Anderson, Jerrod Tisko, Billy Tisko, Codi Hall, Jessica Strack and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, November 3, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Friday, November 3, 2023, at McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
