Wayne W. Fanning

Wayne W. Fanning, age 73, passed away Monday February 10, 2014 in Winter Haven. Born on October 21, 1940 in Erwin, TX, he was the son of the late William M. and Ollie M. Fanning. Mr. Fanning was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Navy. He also worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for the Tandy Corporation based in Fort Worth, Texas. Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn Fanning and is survived by a loving family that includes two daughters; Teresa Meeks (Narvin) of Winter Haven, Cretia Harmon of Richardson, TX, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Fanning was proud to have served his country and loved his family. He will be missed.
