Wauneta Jean Morris

Mrs. Wauneta Jean Morris, age 77, died Friday, October 22, 2010. Born June 29, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Morris was a longtime resident of Bartow. Mrs. Morris was homemaker and a bookkeeper. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Bartow. She is preceded in death by her husband George Henry Morris, Jr.. She is survived by her daughter Yvonne Beverly of Sarasota, her son George H. Morris, III. of Bartow, four grandchildren; Melissa VanNort of Sarasota, George H. Morris, IV stationed at Fort Campbell, KY and currently in Afghanistan, Jennifer Hicks of Bartow, and Josh Beverly of Centerville, VA. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren; Hannah, Ella, Bryson, Madison, Liam, Justin and Carson. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 27th for 10am to 11am at Wildwood Baptist Church 1120 South Woodlawn Ave. in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the Church.
