Warren Cristopher Taylor Jr.

Warren C. Taylor Jr. 78 of Bartow passed away Jan. 29, 2010 from heart failure at his residence. A native of Lake Wales he was a lifelong resident of the area and a retired U.S. Postal Service Worker. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Bartow and a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #8; Past Commander American Legion Post #72; Disabled American Veterans; VFW Post #2420 and AMVETS Post#32. He was preceded in death by his first wife Joan Taylor and parents Warren and Bessie Taylor. He is survived by his wife Sandra Taylor of Bartow; daughters Joanne Gove and husband John; Robin George and husband Marty both of Lakeland; grandchildren Joseph Gove and Jessica George; stepchildren Tony Will and wife JoAnn of ND; Jim Will and wife Toni of NC; Charles Will of NC and five step grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm on Monday Feb. 1, 2009 at Whidden-McLean Funeral in Bartow and services will begin at 5pm.
