Wanda J. Ray

Bartow - Wanda J. Ray, age 78, passed away September 28, 2024, at Bartow Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 5, 1946, in Lawrence, MI. She worked as a Respiratory Technician Supervisor. She was a licensed Minister through the ACTS Ministry. She was preceded in death by her brothers Don, Bill & Jim, and sister Wilma. She is survived by her loving family that includes her husband Gene Ray, Sr. of Bartow, daughters Kelly Christensen of Saint Cloud, Shelly Prather (Greg) of Cortez & Susie Flood (Freddy) of Frostproof, son Gene Ray, Jr. of Bartow, 6 grandchildren and 5 great granddaughters. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, SPCA or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
