Wanda Durrance

Bowling Green, FL - Wanda Durrance, age 91, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Florida Hospital in Wauchula, FL. Ms. Durrance was born on August 28, 1926 Sunday McKinley Bailey in Ona, Florida.  She grew up in Fort Meade, Florida.  Wanda graduated from the University of Tampa in 1952 with a BA Degree and resided in Tampa for thirty years.  She was a Office manager for Swift and Company. She was also a Elementary School Teacher in Wauchula and Bowling Green. Mrs. Durrance was an accomplished Artist and Writer. Her artwork and many of her poems have been published. She was preceded in death by her daughter; Christina Crum, brother; Larue Durrance and husband; Bill Cary. She is survived by her son; Coyt Hamilton and granddaughter; Melissa Hamilton.
