Wally "Jerry" Simpson

Wally "Jerry" Simpson, age 80, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born June 30, 1943 in Pierce, FL to James & Myrtice Simpson. Jerry was a Owner of Simpson's Pest Control. He served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, step son Stanley Matthews, two sisters Ladonna Sayers & Sandy Norris and two brothers James Simpson & Billy Simpson. Jerry is survived by his wife Linda Simpson of Bartow, daughters Kerri Simpson of Bartow, Robin Benfield (Jerry) of Phoenix City, AL and Shelley Maldonado (Rudy) of Lakeland, son Don Barrow (Penny) of Phoenix City, AL, sister Maudell Hughy (Gary) of Lakeland, grandchildren KC Simpson (Carrie) of Phoenix City, AL, Bryan Matthews (Ariel) of Carthage, NC, Brandon Crispell of Inverness, Stephen Maldanado of Orlando, great grandchildren Hunter Simpson, Layla Simpson both of Phoenix City, AL and Lily Matthews of Carthage, NC. Family will receive friends Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 am with Military Honors at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
