Walden Preston Palmer

Walden Preston Palmer 84 of Bartow passed away February 3, 2010 at Bartow regional Medical Center. A native of Andulusia, Alabama he was lifelong resident of the area and worked for McDonald Construction Co. as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was also a Army Veteran and a member of the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church of Bartow. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Marie Palmer and is survived by four daughters Frances Hoskins; Lois Loyd (Charles); Teresa Hall (Steve); Stephanie Franklin (Randy) all of Bartow and Brenda Martin of Lakeland; two sons Randy Palmer (Jane); Rev. Reggie Palmer (Elizabeth) both of Bartow; two brothers Ray Palmer; Curtis Dunn; one sister Evelyn Elliot all of Alabama; 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday Feb. 6, 2009 at 11am at the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church in Bartow. Condolences may be made to the family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com
