Vondia Queen

Mrs. Vondia J. Queen passed away from cancer Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at her residence in Bartow. She was 71. Mrs. Queen was born on August 22, 1935 in Pikeville, Kentucky. She moved to Bartow in 1974 from Kentucky. Mrs. Queen was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Charles Queen; two sons, Wesley Queen of Lakeland and Christopher Queen of Bartow; and one granddaughter Alexis Queen. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home where family will receive friends Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 2 PM to 3 PM. Services for Mrs. Queen will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home chapel.
