Vivian Griffin

Lakeland -Vivian Griffin, age 77, passed away September 15, 2021, at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland. She was born on November 9, 1943, in Lakeland, FL. She was a Paralegal for Martin & Martin for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and going to the beach. Most of all she loved time with her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Russell, her brothers: George Purvis & David Purvis. She is survived by a loving family that includes her son, David Staab (Nichole) of Lakeland, sister, Deb Burke of Lakeland, brothers: Charles Purvis (Janeane) of Lakeland, Darrell Purvis of Lakeland, John Purvis of Lakeland & Emmett Purvis of Bartow, granddaughters: Macey Staab & Ainsley Staab and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends on October 9, 2021, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden - McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home.
