Virginia Mae Howze

Virginia Mae Howze, 94, of Fort Meade, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010. She was born March 5, 1916 in Tiger Bay, FL. Mrs. Howze was a School Teacher for 38 years for the Polk County School System. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was a past member American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her One Aunt and several cousins. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Thursday, August 26, 2010. Funeral service will be at McLean Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 26, 2010 , Rev. Joe Parrish officiating. Interment will be at Hancock Cemetery in Fort Meade.
