Virginia Louise Harrison

Mrs. Virginia Louise Harrison, age 74, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at home in Bartow. Born February 7, 1935 in Madison, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Jim Clover and Laura "Sweet" Clark. Mrs. Harrison was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Van B. Harrison, two daughters; Gale Cochran (Ken) of Bartow, Tina Moore (Greg) of Fort Lonesome, sister Elizabeth Almond of Lee, and brother James Clark (Mary) of Madison. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Keith Cochran (Julie) of Bartow, Morgan Johnson (Mike) of Lakeland, Amanda Moore of Brandon, Cindy Benzel (Carl) of Nebraska, Cassidi Cochran of Bartow, and five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 3rd at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield, 1170 Eighty Foot Road, Bartow, FL 33830. Memorial contributions may be made to the church at the same address in lieu of flowers.
