Virgil Leo Davis

Bartow - Virgil Leo Davis, age 91, passed away March 14, 2024, at Advent Health in Lake Wales. He was born on December 2, 1932, in Lancaster, PA. He held numerous jobs throughout his life including being a Farmer, working Chrysler Plant in Newark, Delaware, working at Trojan Boat in Lancaster, PA, Mushroom Farmer in Nine Points, PA, Owner of Ponderosa Used Cars in New Providence, PA, Owner of Ponderosa Trucking in New Providence, PA, working at Lester M Prange Trucking in Kirkwood, PA and working at the Flea market. He enjoyed antiquing and gardening. He was survived by his loving family that includes his wife Carla Stark-Davis, son Jeffrey Davis and wife Sue; daughters, Andrea MacDonald and husband James, Vanessa Groff, and Pamela Fackler; sister Dorothy Lewis, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held April 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, Winter Haven, FL. Donations can be made to Grace Lutheran Church and School.
