Violet Audrey Jones left for her eternal home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, ending a truly memorable and rewarding life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Deer Park Florida on January 23, 1931- the daughter of Malcolm and Gladys McCullough. She married Everett “Lorenza” Jones in 1949. After they were married, they lived in Alturas, FL and eventually moved to Bartow where they raised their 3 children. She worked many years at KT Pharmacy in Bartow and then as the Office Manager for her husband’s business, Everett Jones Electrical Contracting. Upon retirement they lived happily at their home at Royal Ranch Estates until Everett’s passing in 2003. With deep devotion to each other, they celebrated 54 years of marriage. After Everett’s passing, she moved to Fort Meade, FL to be closer to family. Her greatest love, aside from her husband, was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Until her health began to fail, she was always planning trips, get-togethers, and meals so she could be with her family. She was a blessing beyond measure to all who knew her! Immediate family left behind to mourn her loss include daughters Donna (Tim) Joyner and Debbie (Joe) Taylor and son Edwin (Colleen) Jones; 9 grandchildren: Rachel Whittington, Kelly (Ritchie) Vaughn, Everett (Lauren) Jones, Jason (Casey) Taylor, Scott (Shannan) Taylor, Kaitlin and Janan Taylor, Amber (Ernest) Ashford and Destiny (Robert) Ogden and 9 great-grandchildren: Alyssa Whittington, Raegen and Rylen Vaughn, Isaiah, Skylar and Trinity Ashford, Layla Ogden, Drew Taylor and Hayven Certelli.
