Viola A. Bell

Viola Alma Bell, 97, of Auburndale, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, of old age. Mrs. Bell was born May 25, 1913 in Patton, Missouri. She was a member of Carpenter's Home Church. She was Nursing Aide for Polk County and retired from the Rohr Home in Bartow. Mrs. Bell moved from Poplar Bluff, MO to Winter Haven in 1960. She was Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil O. Bell in 1964 and her son, Roy Brooks in 2006. Two Sons; Randy & wife Pat Brooks of Auburndale and Rodger & wife Margaret Bell of O'Fallon, MO. Daughter; Rachel Bell of Lakeland. Seven Grandchildren; Judy Fennell, Robin Brooks both of Auburndale, Vertresa Griner of Lakeland, Rhonda Ballner of Powder Springs, GA, Marilyn Roark of Ellsinore, MO, Leslie Trimble & Angie Thomas of O'Fallon, MO. Twenty-one Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Streeti n Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Funeral service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2010 . Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
