Vikki Cochran O'Neal

Vikki Cochran O'Neal, age 64, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 from respiratory failure at her home in Eagle Lake. Born February 17, 1950 in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Charles Swink Cochran, Jr. and Betty Newman. She was a lifelong area resident and worked as an Emergency Management Specialist for Polk County. Along with her parents, Vikki is preceded in death by her former husband, John Fennell, and her siblings; Doug Newman and Debbie Ray. She is survived by two daughters: Sheri White, Lori Fennell both of Bartow, two sisters: Ieleen Richards and Robbie Newman both of Bartow. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Jennifer, Jason, Dalton, Mason, Alexis, Myranda, Kassy, Doug, and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, August 18th from 6 pm to 8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, August 19th at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel.
