Vester "Peanut" Adams

Vester "Peanut" Adams 89 of Eagle Lake, FL. passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Winter Haven Hospital. Born in DeFuniack Springs, FL she moved to the area in 1952 and settled in Eagle Lake in 1973. She worked as a Supervisor for the Bordo Citrus Plant in Winter Haven for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. Vester was a excellent seamstress and enjoyed making colthes for herself and her family. She was also an avid crossword puzzle player. A loving mother and grandmother she will be dearly missed. Vester was preceded in death by a son Joseph L. Williams. Four sisters Vivian Pollock, Jimmie McNutt, Faye Smith, Foye Bess and a brother Billy Hall. She is survived by her son J.B. Williams of Fort Myers, FL. Three brothers H.B. Hall of Bonifay, FL, Sessiom Hall of North Fort Myers, FL and H.L. Hall of Donalsonville, GA. Grandson and caregiver Joseph L. Williams of Eagle Lake, FL and five additional grandchildren. Seven great grandchildren and one great great garndchild. The family will recieve friends on Wednesday, April 16th from 2-3pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow with funeral services at 3pm. Burial will be held in the Bartow Wildwood Cemetery after the service.
