Vanan P. Hampton

Altamonte Springs- Vanan P. Hampton, age 57, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Altamonte Springs. Mrs. Hampton was born on October 17, 1963 in Jacksonville Beach, FL. She dedicated over 25 years to serving Seminole and Orange County governments. Vanan was survived by her husband, Leon Laumar Hampton until he passed away on August 30, 2021, her children, Brad Hampton (wife Jill), Lyncie Kruchten (husband Duane), Dana Mahr (husband Franz); her siblings, Jody Bryant (husband Robert), Kathy Bowen (husband Craig), Patti O'Cain (husband Phillip), Louie Murphy (wife Dottie), Bill Murphy (wife Stephanie), sister-in-law, Andrea Purcell, brother-in-law, Joe McMahan; her grandchildren, Duane Jr., Kaylee, Paige, Antonio, Dylan, Ethan, Emmalyn, Everlee, Elliettte and her beloved grand dog, Chase. Mrs. Hampton enjoyed traveling the world, crochet, southern cooking and practicing her faith through acts of benevolence. In her honor, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 4:00pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
