Mr. Tennyson W, "T.W." Scarborough, age 91, of Davenport, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Haines City Health Care in Haines City. Born November 11, 1916 in Eastman, GA, Mr Scarborough has been a resident of Davenport for one year, moving from Bartow. Mr. Scarborough a retired Dragline Oiler for US Steel Phosphate. He was a Army veteran. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his son Nollis C. Scarborough. He is survived by 3 sons: Buford Scarborough & Billy Scarborough, both of Bartow; Willard Scarborough of Plant City; 3 brothers: William "W.B." Scarborough of Bartow; Eschol Scarborough of Galveston TX; Cleatys Scarborough of Suger Grove, WV; 1 sister: Earmaten Scarborough also of Suger Grove; Former wife: Bertie Mae Scarborough of Bartow; 4 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. Family wll receive friends Monday, April 28, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 29 10:00 am at the funeral home.
