Trumella Parrish

Mrs. Trumella Parrish, age 79, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Sun City Center. Mrs. Parrish was born on February 2, 1936 in Polk County and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Lorraine Alderman. Trumella worked for many years for the Hillsborough County Schools. Being a pastor's wife, she cherished the many years of partnership in ministry with her late husband Rev. Paul Parrish who passed away in 2010. She is survived by three children: Shurrain Holley (Carl) of Riverview, Teresa Podsobinski of Sevierville, TN, and Marvin "Eugene" Parrish (Kathy) of Madisonville, TN. She also leaves behind a brother Norman Alderman (Nita) of Bradley, sister-in-law Mary Alderman of Mulberry, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, September 4th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
