Tony Frean

Antonio "Tony" Frean, age 76, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Born January 21, 1939 in Cuba, Mr. Frean was a resident of Bartow since 1972. He was a Lab and X-Ray Technologist with Miller, Caswall, Coury & Nobo Medical Group for 29 years. He was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Bartow, the Knights of Columbus and past chairman of the Code Enforcement Board for the City of Bartow for many years. Mr. Frean was survived by his wife of 54 years: Mimi Frean of Bartow, two daughters: Mimi Williamson (Wayne) Bartow & Teri Fisher (Chip) Daphne, AL, son: Tony Frean, Bartow; sister: Edie Diaz, Naples, FL & four grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday, February 1, 2015, 2:00-4:00 PM at Whidden-Mclean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at Saint Thomas Catholic Church, Bartow. Interment will follow in Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
