Tommy C. Gaffney

Bartow -Tommy C. Gaffney , age 63, passed away June 14, 2024, at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow. He was born on May 16, 1961, in Haines City, FL. He worked in Records Management for Polk County Board of County Commissioners. He was a Representative for the Florida Mobile Homes Organization, former Teamster Representative and former Moose Lodge Governor. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and playing jokes. He was preceded in death by parents Raymond Gaffney & Verda Hamilton, brother Cecil Ellis and best buddy Magic . He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Sue Gaffney of Bartow, children Valerie Smith (Jason Benefield) of Lake Wales, Michael Gaffney ( Angela) of Davenport Tamra Reynolds (Caleb Hartline) of Bartow, Thomas Gaffney ( Kelly) of Lakeland, Julie Jacoby (David) of Davenport & Amiee Hamilton-Goss (Greg) of Wesley Chapel, sisters Jeannie Davis of Jasper, GA & Betty Ivey of Auburndale, brothers Freddy Trim (Marilyn) of Lake Wales, Johnny Gaffney of Auburndale & Mike Gaffney of Dallas, TX, 14 grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
