Elbert "Tom" Fisher, 74, of Fort Meade, FL, died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at his Residence in Fort Meade. Tom was born January 20, 1936 in Afton, VA. He was a Electrical Mechanical Troubleshooter in the Automotive industry for almost 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade & Bowne Mennonite Church in Clarksville, MI. Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years Eunice Fisher of Fort Meade. Five Sons; Timothy Fisher and Wife Sara of Charlevoix, MI, Edward Fisher and Wife Karen of Jonesville, MI, William Fisher and Wife V'Lyndi of Alanson, MI, David Fisher and Wife Tammy of Union City, MI and Kevin Fisher of Fort Meade, FL. Foster Son; Roger Mays and Wife Judy of Petoskey, MI. Two Sisters; Betty Brown of Cremoria, VA and Ethel Weaver and Husband Paul of Arcadia, FL. One Brother; Vern Oaks and Wife Pat of Frostproof, FL.Five Grandchildren Tiffany Fisher, Taylor Fisher, Tanner Fisher, Bradley Dohm and Brittany Nelson. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 30, 2010 , Rev. Kenny Slay officiating. A Memorial Service will be held April 17, 2010, 4:00 pm at Mennonite Church in Clarksville, MI.
