Thomas C. Mcguire, Sr

Mr. Thomas Charles McGuire, Sr. , age 85, passed away from respiratory failure Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 at his residence in Bartow. Mr. McGuire was a Plant Operator for C.F. Industries and a resident of Bartow since 1962. He was also a member of VFW Post 11179, Fort Meade and American Legion Post 3 in Bartow. Mr. McGuire was an Army Veteran of WWII and Korea. Mr. McGuire is survived by his wife-Clairene Bowen McGuire of Bartow, son-Thomas C. McGuire, Jr. of Baltimore, Md., son-Ray Anthony Turner of Fort Meade, daughter-JoAnn Turner of Winter Haven, daughter-Lena Marie Criswell of Andalusia, Ala., daughter-Betty Gorum of Ocoee, daughter-Carol E. Johnson of Auburndale, sister-Ann Newsome of Floral City, 21 Grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home on Mon., Feb. 26, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be held on Tues., Feb. 27, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
