Thomas Lynn Estes

Thomas Lynn Estes, age 67, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Durham, NC. Born October 21, 1949 in Bloomington, IL, he was the son of the late Harold and Vera (Followell) Estes Johnson. Mr. Estes retired from the Hendry County School Board, where he worked as a high school mathematics teacher at Labelle High School. He also formerly attended Labelle Baptist Church. Mr. Estes is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, of 41 years, Linda Estes of Homeland, his children: Brandon Estes (Meredith) of Glenville, IL, Randi Cosler (Don) of Cary, NC, his siblings: Margie Leonard of Hartselle, AL, Dan Estes of Greensboro, NC, Stacy Nichols of Leroy, IL, his step mother Mary Estes also of Leroy, IL, and his grandchildren: Brooke, Hannah, Lillian, Noah, and Wyatt. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL.
