Thomas Leon Coulter, Sr

Thomas Leon Coulter, Sr., 72, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from complications of kidney failure. He was born March 15, 1942 in Bartow, FL. Thomas was Baptist and served in the US Navy. He was a Lab Supervisor for 35 years with Cargill/Mosaic. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Vernon & Elizabeth Coulter and sister Donna Coulter. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Coulter of Lakeland. Three sons;Thomas Coulter, Jr. of Winter Haven, John Coulter (Tina) and Charles Coulter both of Lakeland. Three daughters; Kathy Ann Lashley (Christopher), Jessica Lehman (Chad) and Samantha J Coulter (Jason Kosher) all of Lakeland. Five sisters; Delores Tucker of Marietta, GA, Debbie Avinon, Diane Smedley both of Winter Haven, Linda Redden of Highland City and Becky Omar of Augusta, GA. Fourteen Grandchildren, Three great grandchildren and his dogs; Sweet thing Coulter, Sugar, Rebel and Blue Bell. Memorial service will be held Monday, July 21, 2014, at 2:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow, FL.
