Theresa Tyson Walker

Theresa Tyson Walker, age 45, passed away from cancer Monday, May 28, 2012 at her home in Winter Haven. Ms. Walker was born in Frostproof on June 11, 1966. She was a lifelong Polk county resident. Ms. Walker had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bartow Regional Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her mother Joy (Hicks) Walker. She is survived by three children; Shanon Powell (Ricky) of Winter Haven, Jennifer Tyson (Waymone), and Allen K. Tyson, Jr. all of Bartow. She also leaves behind her father, Perry J. Walker of Gordon, GA, two brothers; Perry D. Walker (Kathy) of Irvington, GA, Terry J. Walker (Debbie) of Eatonton, GA, her sister, W. Elaine Collins (Johnny) of Gordon, GA, and six grandchildren; Joshua, Tyler, Chelsey, Paige, Wyatt, and Jersey. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd at 10:00AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow.
