Theodora Brackin Kilpatrick White

Theodora "Dora" Brackin Kilpatrick White, 94, of Fort Meade, FL, died Sunday, August 23, 2009, at her Residence in Fort Meade. Mrs. White was born May 4, 1915 in Newton, Alabama. She moved from Alabama to Frostproof at the age of 5, she lived in Fort Meade since 1935 moving from Frostproof. Mrs. White was a medical clerk for Polk General Hospital for 21 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her husband A. Julian Kilpatrick, sister Ollie V. Bacon and two brothers Dock Brackin & James Brackin. She is survived by her three Daughters; Delores Riggs of Fort Meade, Julia & her husband Henry Hansen of San Antonio, TX and Gloria Kay & her husband Donald Cason of Lakeland. Two special daughters Joyce Bintliff of Clearwater and Vonceil Lane of Fort Meade. Four Sisters; Ida Bacon of Fort Meade, Julia Goss of Plant City, Daisy Robinette of Manchester, TN and Dolly Comtois of St. Petersburg. Eight Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 27, 2009 ,Rev. Kenny Slay officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade.
