Terry L. Hester

Lakeland- Terry L Hester, age 72, passed away on October 19th, 2024 at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. He was born on October 26, 1951 in Burlington, IA. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from World Harvest Bible College and was the owner of Better Fiberglass Repair. In his younger years, Terry enjoyed hunting, and fishing on his boat. He was a talented artist who created one of a kind fiberglass creations. He was a determined man who studied for his Instrument Rated Private Pilot License, and enjoyed flying with his family and friends. After retirement, he enjoyed being outdoors with his doggies and continued to design crafts. Throughout his life, he grew to be a strong Man of God, a dedicated husband, and a loving father. Before joining eternity with the Lord, he was able to take his wife, of 52 years on many ice cream dates on their golf cart. Terry was a funny man who enjoyed making anyone around him laugh. One of his favorite sayings was “You’ll get over it!”. He is survived by his wife Terrell Hester (Lakeland), daughters Angie McHenry (Simon) of Hastings, UK & Stacie Moon(Tony) of Blacklick, OH, and 4 grandchildren, Ricky, Ryan, Zoe, and Riley.
