Terry Ayers

Terry Ayers, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 7th, 2008 from heart failure. Terry was born in Panama City and moved to Lakeland in 2007. Terry attended Alliance for Independence Living Center in Lakeland where he was voted secretary of the center. Terry enjoyed gospel music, Nascar racing and collecting memorabilia. He was loved and endeared by all that knew him. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Norman Ayers and his mother Ruby Ayers Joh. He is survived by his brother, Steve Ayers and wife, Tammy of Chipley, Florida, and his sister, Lori Ellis and husband Tim of Lakeland, Florida, along with seven nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, August 11th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, Florida. A Celebration of Terry's life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 12th, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, Florida. Interment will follow at Millvelle Cemetery.
