Syble S. Nichols

Bartow- Syble S. Nichols, age 81, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow. Born April 14, 1929 in Soperton, GA, Mrs. Nichols has been a resident of Bartow since 1944, moving from Georgia. Mrs. Nichols was a nursing assistant with the Bartow Rohr Home for over 30 yrs. She atttended the Blessed Assurance Temple, Bartow. She is preceded in death by her husband: George Nichols & son: James R. Nichols. Mrs Nichols is survived by her son: Buddy & wife Maureen Nichols of Bartow; 3 brothers: Charlie Spivey of Pomfret, Md; Roy Spivey of Bartow & Robert Spivey of Fort Meade. sister: Susie Whitmer of Bremerton, WA; 8 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Arrangements by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, July 2, 2010. Funeral Service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 10:00 am Saturday, July 3, 2010, Rev. Matt Clark officiating. Burial in Wildwood Cemetery Bartow, Florida
