Susie Belle Hutto Spokas Smith

Sue Spokas Smith, age 94, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Tampa. Born September 3, 1923 in Madison, FL, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Doshia Hutto. Mrs. Smith owned and operated a beauty salon in Tampa for many years and also worked as a medical assistant for John J. Favata, Sr. and Jr. in Tampa. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Adolph Spokas, Sr. and her second husband J.C. Smith. She is survived by her son, Al Spokas (Cindy) of Lutz, her three grandchildren: Adolph Spokas, III. (Amber) of Lutz, Michael Spokas (Malina) of Tampa, Leticia Worsham (Ryan) also of Tampa, and her seven great grandchildren: Megan, Madison, Caden, Ella, Ty, Hannah, and Hayley. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 5th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St. in Bartow, FL. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
